you could probably get a new Pontiac G8 GT for that...I have one and absolutely love it

might be a little more than your mom wants but you could always get the regular G8 sedan if that's the case

M3 is def a good choice

The TL's are very nice..especially inside..but ultimately you can do better for that kind of cash.

Get a used BMW and be done with it

Define "bang".

What are we looking for? most bang for buck in terms of MPG? comfort? HP? Sportiness? Luxury? Well roundedness? DEFINE YOUR CONNOTATION OF BANG PLEASE.

Fuel mileage should be the first thing you take into consideration. The price of fuel always goes up in the summer and now with all of the extra money being printed there will be some inflation.

Its funny every time someone asks for advice in buying a car in the 20's, BMW is the only acceptable choice

^ Got the same thing when I polled for advice here last summer. Actually preferred the IS300 after the test drives.
