Any suggestions of tires that are not too expensive yet still good and will last a quite a while? I think size is 215/45-17.

uniroyals tend to last forever but i don't know if they'd have something in your size.

i don't recommend these - they are on my car and i'm going to replace them this week or next - other than lasting as long as i had anticipated i didn't like them

they really weren't that loud - especially for the price - the handling was what sucked

dude, just go baller and get some potenza pole positions, there is not a better tire.

i also had some g1 fsd3 that were a great tire. great tread and exceptional in wet.

kumho ast are dirt cheap for a reason.

toyo is a good tire from my experience, not as good as my other suggestions though.

I ran the Ecsta ASX on my Mark VIII...I was happy with them, but then again handling wasn't that car's forte in the first place. Quiet though, wore well, and didn't handle any worse than what was on the car previously, the considerably more expensive Michelin Energy MXV4. Currently I've got Ecsta STX rears on the Marauder and they seem to be wearing well. (Yes, that's technically a sport light truck tire, you try to find anything all-season in 255/55-18.)

But I've been happy with the Kumhos in general.

I've liked the handling of my falken ze-502's but they are very noisey.

I was thinking about falken ziex ze 912 and someone suggested the nexen. I read good stuff about the falken but didn't know about the nexen.

I have Nexen on my Audi, not bad tires at all.

I had Falken's on my SE-R and absolutely LOVED them. Piss poor tire wear, I'm not sure I could even get a warranty because the tires were so soft, but they handled great with low noise.

I also had Goodyear Eagle GT's & Fuzion ZRi's and they were both good as well, but the Fuzion's treadlife was horrible compared to the Eagle GT's

Here are the best IMHO:
Goodyear Eagle GT
Bridgestone Grid
Bridgestone Pole Position

You can kinda tell which tires are worth something based on the treadlife warranty.
