Their mens bball team is playing Gonzaga right now and there fans just cost SCU mens team two technical fouls b/c the fans of SCU threw shit onto the court b/c they were pissed at the ref's calls.

The game was tied up at 56 when the first tech was called.......if I was the coach I would of thrown my coach's chair into the stand..that would of made a point!


Never seen such dumb ass fans during a critical conference mens bball game!! Then security could not find out who threw the two diff. items onto the court???!!!

We regularly play against Duke and UNC. I think our fans have come to expect bad ref calls and have adjusted well over the years.

I remember the WFU game back in 02 or 03

it was the last game of the season, and after enduring so many bad calls all year

the student section just couldnt take it anymore when the refs cost us the game

this was also when RPD beat the living shit out of that kid for leaning over the rail and yelling at the ref

What if i went to an away game, dressed up as a visiting fan, and started chucking shit on the court? If I could make the refs give the home team a technical for that, it would be worth wearing the opposing fans' colors and shit.

i could def see our fans throwing shit on a court/field

i'm pretty sure i remeber a couple of football games around 00-03 where bottles of water were flying like crazy onto the field. i don't remember anything happening to make the score outcome any different.

I would say it's fairly safe to say that most colleges have a small percentage of people who would do stupid shit like that, which may in turn lead to a "mob mentality" causing other students to do it. I'd also say the percentage is fairly close in most NCAA schools. I mean you have your outliers... WVU on the high side, prolly a few Ivy league schools on the low side.

2003...Maryland kicks last second field goal to beat PR on senior day by 2. Field goal unit runs off the field giving the wolfpack hand sign followed by middle fingers to the student section. What happened after would be the previously menitoned shit flying onto the field. I threw at least full coke bottle...that I was hit in the back with....and yelled some naughty words a those homos. I was in the 4th fucking row on the 20 yard line for that bullshit...coming off an epic hangover from the night before.

I was in the chancellors building for that game, everyone in there under the age of 21 were spitting and pouring anything they could find onto the maryland players as they walked under neath us
