Whoever came up with this idea gets a well deserved pat on the back. This is liquid cooling to the extreme. If you're a tech geek and not sporting a chub after looking at this then there's something wrong with you.

it's not an entirely bad thread, interesting article, there really just isn't much to discuss

their kit is too expensive to even joke about buying and they failed to actually innovate along any interesting lines. it has the same problem as DIY submersion cooling for enthusiast systems: how do you plug shit into it without getting your work area lubed up like a japanese schoolgirl? external PCI-E as someone alluded to in one of TFA's reponses might have garnered a few non-joking comments here (at least one from myself), but instead they went with whack priorietary wifi, audio, and completely unnecessary SSD RAID. they've taken the central theme of overclocking, cost/performance optimality, and bent it over a dumpster for a brutal raping then marked it up an additional 50% to cover their R&D. it glows, huzzah.

One thing I would be worried about is the long terms effects. How long till it weakens the wiring or silicon chipset. Seems it might soften up the wood work if you ask me.
