Oakwood Cafe has started doing breakfast from 6:30 until noon. The pancakes are amazing...homefries were great and it's reasonable. Check it out! Add more yummy breakfast stops that are not so well known.

We tried to go there today but they are closed for renovations.

Pam's is good except they are not open on Sunday which kinda sucks.

courtney's is pretty legit.

and there's always waffle house, which despite the lack of cleanliness is honestly a fantastic breakfast.

The Flying Biscuit in Cameron Village offers breakfast ALL day and was beyond yummy when I went...especially their french toast and biscuits (lightly dusted with sugar!) They also offer fresh fruit as a side, and soy sausage for those who are vegetarians.

ew never eat at cafe carolina ever for anything.

village deli, flying biscuit are good choices in CV. i hate cafe carolina.

i think 518 west also has brunch but i've never had it. and tir na nog is good.

what about that finch's place on peace street?!!

there's this place, briggs, in north raleigh that is pretty amazing, too.

Flying Biscuit in Cameron Village should definitely be on the list of places to get a great breakfast all day long.

brigs.

they taste like bisquick biscuits with sugar on top. nothing special. went on a saturday and the food quality was average (the bloody mary's were awful) and the service was kinda bad. the roof leaked on my table (which wasn't a bad thing as it kept us occupied when we were looking for our server).

that won't keep me from going back, as i wanted to try something else on the menu.

i'm not sure what the hullabaloo is about this joint, but i'll give it another chance.

its sort of outskirts of raleigh, but Barry's over off Tryon at jones franklin has some amazing breakfast. its this fireman themed place (the owner is a fireman) and is usually pretty hoppin on weekend mornings (never tried weekday).

Mimi's Cafe has always been good in N. Ral. I'm also a fan of Spring Cafe up here too, it's smaller, but with pretty good eats.

If you're looking for cheap and good.. Bojangles.. nothing better

Not overly impressed at all

There's also a Brigs in Cary at High House and Maynard, it's always packed, never actually eaten there

The owner isn't a firefighter, but is a huge supporter of us... and yes they have a pretty good breakfast

and I can't believe.... nobody has mentioned Pam's, decent for what it is...

I love the french toast at Flying Biscuit. They make it with whole wheat bread. The yogurt parfait is amazing.

definitely hit up the Flying Biscuit. I was overly impressed with that place.

Also, brunch at Vin is very good, albeit pricey. Peach bellinis for the win.

Sadly, my breakfast was either cereal or Chick-Fila my entire college career. Every now I'd get adventurous and hit up Fountain for some waffles, but I lived on chicken biscuits.

The one time I went to Pam's, it was great. Had an omelet. Highly recommend.
