the preliminary backend/harvesting/processing code is done, just have to write the user interface.

it'll have all the features the old school tool had when it worked properly. it'll also have all of the grade distribution stuff integrated instead of just the GPA/std dev. along with prettier graphs. is there anything else you guys would like to see added while i'm at it? i'm thinking about making a mock schedule planner a la xtracs and the like, but that might have to come later - to do it the way i'd like to, it'll take some work.

progress has been made.

most of the UI is done. still trying to decide what to use for graphs. the backend code goes out and harvests class data every hour right now (pulls from open section inquiry whenever it can). during active registration times i might consider increasing this so the data isn't too stale - the whole process takes around five minutes to grab the data, parse it, and update the db. i'm trying to be nice and not hammer ncsu's servers, though - i already have it wait a random amount of time between requests so i'm not constantly hitting it.

also in this edition: rss feeds! (mainly because i wanted them )
you will be able to set up a feed for yourself containing just about any data you'd like it to.

has registration already opened yet? if not, when does it open? i'll do everything i can to have this done by then.
