Had to do fork lift training today for work, and when this picture was shown in the class room, i LOL...and no one else did...

this image was used in safety training i had at pfizer-

i, too, laughed at it, as did the person giving the presentation... we were the only two though....

I would pay money to sit in on the meeting that came to this conclusion.


So I take it in the safety class this was considered something to NOT do?

yeah, there were a fair amount of "dont do this shit" pictures...but you know at least one person in the class had already done some shit like that.

yeah...this is the first job that i've had where i've actually needed to be "certified". All the other jobs were all.."can you drive a car?...yes? Then you can drive a fork lift"

I did however learn some good tips on battery operated lifts...

all in all...the training was a victory, cause it kept me out of the cold for the first half of the day and i got to drink coffe mixed with hot chocolate

It was a toss up for me.. I mean.. The logical side of me says this looks way dangerous.. But I grew up with people who either have done something like this.. Or would do it given the opportunity and not have a second thought about it.. So my mind is a little clouded

yeah man...i mean they also said not to lift people up on the forks or use it as a crane...which i agree with...but who fucking follows that shit....oh..me...but still

we were shown this in one of the weekly safety lessons at my 1st job. pretty much everyone lolled.... myself included.
