Every image except for one shows up in Dreamweaver when I'm working with the html page. When you preview it in Firefox or IE, it also shows up. It's hosted online and all of the image references are to images online.

The problem is the image that keeps not showing up in Dreamweaver also doesn't consistently appear when I email the page to someone to look at. I'm thinking it may have something to do with the hosting of the image and not so much the image in the webpage as the html code is fine. The only other difference is that this image was done in photoshop, but there are a few others that have been done the same way that always display fine.

Anyone had this problem before? Any suggestions of things I might be missing to check?

Ok - screw that, I just checked and the image shows up in firefox, but not IE. WTF?

1st thing I'd check... case sensitivity. I don't remember if one browser is and the other isn't. Worth a check.

After that I'd ask how you are displaying the image (rollover, background, etc.). Maybe one browser supports what you are trying to do while the other doesn't.

^ AH! Genius. The reason it wasn't showing up in IE was because I forgot to Save for Web which changes the color profile to RGB.

However, still not displaying IN Dreamweaver (only in IE/FF preview) like the other images... any suggestions there? Just a normally <img src="xx"> embedded image, not background, rollover, etc.

Thanks - you just saved me a ton of frustration by reminding me about that!
