I'm thinking about Sam, Jesus, Fishyface, Hollander (he's got red, purple, and orange coloring, like a tulip), and Fish.

I find it humorous to name pets food. So a cat might be Moo Shu Mindy, and a dog might be Kung Pao Kevin. A dachshund would be Hot Dog.

Maybe I'll name him Shark Bait.

I don't understand the point of naming an animal that you're not actually going to talk to. A dog needs to have a name because you need to get it to pay attention to you by saying a word that means, "hey, listen to me". My current pet is a green anole that I found outside and put in a terrarium. His name is "green anole I found."

I don't understand the :carlface:. I like animals and I've almost always kept at least one. I just don't understand the need to name something you're never going to address. You might as well be naming a pet rock.
