What's with all the U2 hate? They were one of the better bands of the late 80's early 90's. Sure, they are just a mediocre pop rock band now, but they had some great stuff. I had tickets to that show in 1996 and they cancelled because their stage was destroyed in a thunderstorm in Washington DC (they had only sold 5,000 tickets).

They do play their old stuff. When I went to there elevation tour, the first hour was new stuff then the rest were classics. I'm going, and gonna take my dad. I'm really stoked. They were my first love as a kid and always hold a place in my heart! <3 the edge

I saw them in Atlanta the day that George Harrison died and they did a bunch of Beatles/Harrison covers.

That was also a few months after 9/11 so they did their whole tribute with the scrolling names and had the whole place in tears.
