frankly it doesn't matter if we get one or not because we're just going to stink it up if we do get in.

We're not making it.

We're not even on the NIT bubble.

Sadly that's good enough for many on here and if you even question Sidney then you're a bad fan.

we should want it for the experience and extra games for our young guys alone

or you can say we're not even on the bubble because you hate your team because you gave yourself retardedly overlofty expectations when we beat unc in sid's first year

i think when herb makes his 1st or 2nd round exit, you'll realize the alternative wasn't as great as you remember it being

I'll at least give him his contract. Two more seasons, right?

Sigh. Herb has nothing to do with our current suckage. Please stop referring to him.

he doesnt have anything to do with our current suckage, but he certainly gives people false memories of imaginary glory days, and everything is relative

I remember being really excited about March Madness while Herb was here, whether we got past the first game or not, I knew more about and cared more about the entire tourney.

Now it doesn't seem like there's any reason to care that much about the tourney. I'll probably watch it, maybe fill out a bracket, but I won't follow it like I would if State was in it.

Extra practice and game day(s) are always productive. I doubt we make it, but not going to whine if we do. If nothing else, play with having Javi, Mays, Smith, Horner, and Williams on the floor at the same time.

People cried over that loss? Wow. You'd think our fans would be absolutely numb in the face of disappointment.

I thought that we were off the radar before the tournament. I wouldn't think a loss would increase our chances.

i hope not. im tired of watching/hearing about this team play.

im equally tired of watching brandon cosner half ass it. im also tired of watching a player such as fells with all the talent in the world not have half the brain to be able to put it to use.

Hey guys, we're making improvement. And improvement isn't about winning more games. I learned this from packpride.

And also Point Guard. PG

No way we make the NIT. Outside shot at the CBI or the other one.

yep, I'm sure this is going just the way we planned it after hiring Lowe.. no need for a fan to have expectations, that would be lunacy. We need to be over joyous that we are one of the shittiest teams in the ACC for the last 3 years, and if you aren't over joyous then you are a retard.

I remember constant unending bitching that was nearly inescapable.

Picking NC State to win the NCAA in the cheap office pool was fun until the first weekend ended. It was a better situation that we're lookin' at right now, but I also don't think that this is the best Coach Lowe can do.

^^yep, that's exactly what everyone is saying.

You asked me to stop 'trolling' you. If by that, you mean stop calling you out for saying stupid shit like the above, then first you'll have to stop posting stupid shit like the above.

I hope we make it, but I'm not counting on it. It's comparable to qualifying for a minor bowl game in football - it's extra practice for the younger players, it certainly couldn't hurt.

no shot at making the NIT; none at all

if we get an invite to the CBI do we take it is the question? By the way Sidney sounded in his postgame, I think we might would take the CBI invite. Get the younger players more games. I don't know for sure, obviously, but I think we might would accept the invite to the CBI

If we go then the lineup should be

Starters
Smith
Harris
Williams
Mays
Gonzalez

Subs
Thomas
Ferguson

Bring Trevor and Thomas off the bench and let the rest of them sit and watch, unless we have too many guys foul out and we need someone to replace them.

we need all ncaa locks to go ahead and lose so we can get as many teams "out" of the nit that will fall in if their bubble bursts.
