Holy shit! So that guy now owns DEL "6" and "9". He says he puts them on the family cars. What happens if someone steals it off of the car? It becomes a dead tag and only the owner can get a replacement?

i've always wondered that.

there's a few plates around where i live that are in the double digit range, i dont see how you just put a plate that's worth over a half mill on the car

but i guess your value is pretty low on the black market when you have to register the plate with the dmv to the buyer

idk

He was probably going to give you $50 for it, then put it on a similar car and run through a shit ton of red light cameras.

He probably buys your plate and then sells them to people who can't register their car for profit.
