You have to admit, Ahmadinejad does look like a monkey. Its unfortunate that the simple innocence of a child led to such a reaction. Americans wouldn't stand for it if Sesame Street be pulled off the air just because of a political cutdown by a child. I wish the Iranian people could get back their freedom of speech (they did have it once)

^^ There was a really good article a while back, I think in Newsweek, discussing that. It assigns pretty much equal blame to both sides--each made some really bumbling political moves. At the end of the day, though, we're the ones who are supposed to have our feces collocated--they're a back-asswards, 3rd-world, middle-eastern theocracy.
