seriously, when you get there - look around at everyone else. Then contemplate that the rest of the world thinks you're just like them.

I saw this on CNN and it said the people only really make a 2% of profit when they sell the gold to collect and I thought that was really low.

it also said that they make it up by the volume of gold they are able to get.

For real.
Solinari is a prejudiced loser.

From the context, 9one9 could've meant:
Quote :
"can you (a person who might go,) buy gold there (from the event holders) or do they (people who already go,) just sell it (to the event holders)?""
...or not.
But either way, go ahead -- you got called out for being prejudiced, so now you're a back-peddling grammar nazi.
Get a life.

you're right - i'm prejudiced against morons who buy into stupid shit like this. you can also see this type of person at motivational seminars and they'll usually have signed up for one of those Amway deals or "make 6 billion dollars selling real estate" ripoffs at least once in their life.

why is this neccesarily a bad thing Solinari? most people don't have enough gold stock to warrant any special circumstances or dealers, so assuming that the buyers don't take too much, I don't see a problem with people using this as a way to turn gold into cash

i would assume that pawn shops five about 50-60% of true value
these dealers probably give better than that, 70-80%, sure its not the best deal you could get but tons more convinient than finding a gold dealer to give you a better percentage than that
