The writers of Family Guy must think that they have the world by the balls by sticking Conway Twitty in there like that. And I love Conway Twitty. I can remember listening to a Very Twitty Christmas w/ "Twitty" Bird.

i hit the fast forward button. i thought it was stupid.hey we can't think of anything else to stick in here so we're gonna make them listen to shitty music from 9832423 years ago and all our fanboys will think it's awesome!!!!!

Yeah... It was quite excessive this time.

It was worse than the time Peter fell and held his knee saying, "sssssss aaaaaahhh" over and over again for like 3+ minutes.

I agree that Conway Twitty rules, but I also agree that they did it knowing their fanboys would eat up anything at all... so now there is going to be some annoying ass Family Guy based Conway Twitty revival? great.

no, i am completely standing by my statement.it was not funny in the leastand conway twitty sucks

Haven't they done this several times before? It's typical Family Guy to overdo it when they do stuff like this, its basically at the point that it is a Family Guy cliche, but I still usually find myself laughing every time they take it to the extreme.[Edited on March 16, 2009 at 10:02 AM. Reason : ^ Well your sense of humor sucks.]

I used to watch He Haw all the time. Talk about scandalous jokes! Twitty was pretty well washed up by that point, but at least he was doing what he liked.I think you guys have the wrong idea. MacFarlane's a weird dude. I think he genuinely likes Twitty as much as he likes showtunes, and he has the power to expose millions of other people to it as well. Anyway, I doubt he even cares if we laugh any more. If I was in his position, I'd probably make you guys listen to old country too, although I'm more a fan of Hank Locklin:PLEASE HELP ME I'M FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALININ LOOOOOOVE WITH YOUUUUUUUThat said, the Mr Belevedere joke in the next show ("google it") is likely a push for the first two seasons of Mr. Belevedere coming out on DVD this week. Complete sellout. Nothing more.
