I'm a youth director and I have "office hours" on Thursday afternoons...but all my kids are in school, so the only thing I'm here for is parent phone calls, but 95% of communication is through e-mails so I could do it from home anyway. I'm done with event planning through the end of the school year so there's nothing else to do.

But I asked for a raise, and they said if I wanted it I had to have office hours, so here I am.

Everyone else in the office is out to lunch at the moment, so its free reign.

Same here. I just finished up two projects and the next handful aren't coming down the pipes until next week. It's nice, but I would rather have a steady amount of work instead of this rush and wait crap we've had here lately.

^I would but I'm not in a rush to jump ship. Actually looking into buying a house. And yes our company is doing well, as I'm sure that will be the next statement. Two weeks left in our fiscal year and we were 122% ytd a month ago
Sadly not hiring though.

If anything they owe me. I had to come in one weekend and teach people who were 10yrs older than me how to run the systems so that they would have the knowledge base to integrate into the base design. I'm also pretty much first person called whenever my supervisor gets an after hours call on something. Luckily it has to be severity 1 to get anyone in after hours.
