There is some weird stuff when they show the first video if you go frame by frame. I remember it being a lot creepier when I first saw it back in 1997. When I watched it last year with my girlfriend of the time she was like crying because she was so scared, I was like "lol wut?"

I've always liked this movie. However I had totally forgotten about the suicide and lady with no eyes.

Watch the making-of section. They supposedly did a study of what scares people most and at the most primal levels to get an idea of what to put in the movie. As far as I can tell, based on the movie, what scares people the most is blood, barbed wire, poor lighting, and cacophonous heavy metal. Who knew?

It has Sam Neil in it. Erego, nothing bad can ever be said about this movie.

i would argue the opposite of the initial post

it was pretty freaky when you first see it, but watch it 10 years later and, relative to other movies, the graphics and special effects blow

Treetwista only thinks this because he watches the movie with no pants and spends most of the time jacking his tiny dick under his bobcats blanket

I liked this movie when it first came out.

I also liked this movie when they called it "Sunshine" several years later.
