Man, fuck that Iowa dude. Lose with some dignity. He ruined what would've been an awesome backflip.

I think the wrestling team got a lot of shit this year that was undeserved. Goodman didn't wrestle, and Joe C. shouldn't have been wrestling with his injuries. So you basically down 2 of your best 3 guys. I think Jordan did the best he could. This is a great way to end a rough year.

the best part is during the team competition when iowa was wrestling... the announcers got to the Metcalf match and were talking about how the 2-4 wrestlers darion caldwell etc were solid wrestlers but they just weren't in the same class as metcalf ... they said when metcalf wrestled the only question was if he would pin or tech fall people

showboating before time expired wasn't right in terms of sportsmanship but it was a huge upset and caldwell was pretty excited

like maverick said, trying to push somebody who is in the middle of a backflip is worse, even if you're pissed at getting owned there are way too many ways you can land wrong in acrobatics that can cause serious life-changing injuries

but it was funny even after that caldwell just got up and started skipping around and celebrating some more, I'm surprised he didn't get pissed and try to go at the other guy

The Wolfpacker says he was going to leave b/c he wanted to play football and didn't think he'd be able to here. The coach convinced him to stay. It also says he plans to redshirt wrestling next year and walk on the football team as a cornerback. He plans on putting on 20lbs.

Not sure if the national title will change his mind. I haven't heard any of this before.

In the article Caldwell also says he has a poster of Brent Metcalf over his bed as motivation. He sees him every night before he goes to sleep. No wonder he did a back flip.
