eh....

I'm salaried, and don't get overtime (it's really up to my manager whether or not to pay me for overtime).

But when I don't get it, it doesn't really bother me. I've put in 50+ hour weeks and felt tired...but not pissed off. I just wanted to get my projects finished....

I guess there's a point where you get paid enough to not worry about the money.... (or at least that's how I feel)

you're talkin to someone who has worked 90+ hour weeks, and that comes out to as little s $15 an hour sometimes, and that sucks just a little more when you are balls deep in a high density chest, or 120 feet off the ground in 0 degree weather and snow on the gantry crane, or in a 110 degree lime kiln trying not to sweat so the dust doesn't burn, the other 50% of the time, my ass is out the door at 3:59 sharp

life is like being a maintenance engineer, you never know what kinda shit you're gonna get into

Come to me when you work 144 hours a week for less than a dollar an hour.

I haven't had a day off, including weekends, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's, in 6 months. Most of those days have been 10-12 hours (a couple have been 13-14, a few more like 7-8, and I only worked about 2-3 hours on Christmas).
