Looking to start a movie up in the next 10 minutes. I've seen most newer releases and enjoy most genre's of movies. My favorite movies (that I can think of at the moment) are:

Snatch
Donnie Darko
Mallrats
Rounders
The Iron Giant
The Rookie

Please note that I am not looking for recommendations on the movies above but am actually looking for something different to watch.

My roommate got RockNRolla as one of the movies in his netflix rotation. It was pretty damn entertaining. Sort of in the line with snatch and other caper-like movies.

As for something different? What, you gotta rock the boat? If you really want something different, nab most any foreign film. Most are completely different from what you're used to seeing roll out of hollywood, and some are pretty good.

If you need something to zone out and stare at (or to watch while on drugs, though I haven't tried this and pretty much never will), try Koyaanisqatsi. I believe it's classified as a cult movie, but it kind of juxtapositions human life with the destruction mankind causes to the environment.
