yeah blank pages would be good. i have the ruled notebook. the pocket is mega ill. and so is the feel. i think its worth the price.

maybe a journal next ... but mine is like a semi book for notes and journal. going to give this as a gift to a friend.

they're nice

but i prefer my sturdy hard-cover heavy spiral-bound sketchbooks... that way i can get into the margins and lay the thing flat in the middle of the book should i so choose

^ i haven't been to that site since their book came out

i never realized the biggest thing on the INTERNET would be selling out for BOOK DEALS

i thought the point of websites was that YOU DON'T NEED BOOKS

how do you pronounce that??

I always thought it was mole skin

but a friend pronounces it molay skin

look at that:
"For two centuries now Moleskine (mol-a-skeen'-a) ..."

lets not kid ourselves

the $4 sketchpad one aisle over would do the same thing

we know what we're doing when we buy these things

that's not necessarily true

i can vouch for the difference between the $4 one vs the $8 one

i'm just saying for $20 you could probably get a couple sketchbooks that would be of similar quality, but would not feature the name or the little pocket lol

i've had a lot of sketchbooks fall apart on me that were solid hard cover sketchbooks. my moleskine has served me well and it takes a lot of abuse. i'd rather get one that lasts than a lot that fall apart. i sketch on scratch paper a lot anyway so it's not like i'm running through a bunch sketchbooks, so a good quality one that will last me forever is ideal.

i just purchased that citykit for my sister by the way. i hope she likes it

yeah i ALWAYS make sure to buy a hard cover sketchbook

not only does it protect the inside, but it adds stamina for when you're drawing in it

I bought one at the beginning of the semester and kind of forgot about it

I generally use the $2 "Composition Notebooks" and they seem to fall apart after a few months. I jot random brainstorming down in them when I'm working on a project, so I guess that's probably what I'll do with this one.

I use 2 at a time.

One as a sketch book, and a Moleskine day planner.
