this is the first time since i got to state that i won't be voting. for anyone.

thanks to everyone who voted for me last year, but SG is worthless when the university administration doesn't let you accomplish anything (hence my resignation in October).

SBP is the only position that matters. Paul Cousins controls conduct, Mike Giancola controls the treasury and Tom Stafford controls the senate. They are all pointless.

There should just be an election for SBP and then an appointed campout committee and appropriations committee...they're the only groups that accomplish anything real. Plus all the money that gets wasted on the other projects and paychecks can add to the appropriations pot.

I fell compelled to post here.

There's been some distance since the election in question, now, and I feel able to say the following:

I kicked Jon Chichwak's ass.

Admittedly, I would not have done it had TGD not been such an awesome and obvious alternative. I also couldn't have pulled it off without information from anonymous sources, or without evan's ability to make great posters. I have never met evan, but his contributions were essential.

Likewise, I would like to extend my thanks to chembob, who helped me put up fliers in the middle of the night; an unnamed amateur wolfwebber/roommate who did the same, despite no longer being a student here; ambrosia1231, whose photography condemned Jon and his followers (who I won't name) to failure; and to various others, whose names I can't remember or don't care to mention.

We obliterated that fucker in record time. It is one of my proudest moments.

I disagree. Yeah, a lot of times you can get people on here to skew an online poll or something, but a lot of people were (and are) militantly opposed to participating in the student body elections at all.
