Great book. Don't remember it having enough 'plot' to make a full length movie though. So, we'll see how hollywood will change it.

you know that actually looks pretty good, i just hope it doesnt start replacing the book for kids to read it first

the movie is 90 minutes long and requires, at least initially, a theater

the book is a ten minute read

it won't replace anything

If they were smart they would make it enjoyable for the kiddies yet add in subtleties for us old folks that grew up with the book and would garner a different appreciation.

Amazing how "adults" lose their shit over a children's picture book.

If you are over the age of 21 and read harry potter / twilight, you have failed at life.

What the fuck is wrong with you people. You are getting "chills" over something that is produced for a 5 year old. I don't get it.

If you are a hater... then obviously you were not touched moved emotionally by this book as a child. Maybe you were one of the kids that sat in the corner and shoved glue up your ass instead of using your imagination.

Things that moved me as a child, do not "move" me as an adult. I use to love grimlock - however, I don;t lose my shit every time I flip past a Transformers rerun. Its called being an adult.

This makes me so happy.

I wish it was a summer movie so we could make it our movie event of the July 4th family reunion.

It's probably gonna be a Will Smith movie again.

But I'm still sooooo stoked about this!!!!

^^ the hobbit "moved" me as a child and I still love that book every single time I read it. There are no rules as an adult that say you can't enjoy something as an adult that you did as a child.

however, if you read harry potter back when it came out, in which case you would've been about ten, then gg, you were the intended demographic.

but there is never an excuse for twilight.
