i don't know about baller . . . it depends on your personal style though. my favorite type of clothes are stuff with not a lot of crazy logos, etc. and i'm pretty simple. i stick with one or two brands for different things.

plain t-shirts ...
and for sneakers I get them at Atrium in NYC, Barneys OP on South Beach, or BASE on Lincoln Road. my favorite sneakers are the Prada World Cups, Chuck Taylors, Campers . . . vintage Nikes or Adidas. ... New Balance and Brooks.

i never shop at malls or places the mass public goes ... that's my rule of thumb for shopping or doing anything.

What killed chit chat was all the picture bombing that happened, and making it nsfw without warning. So people at work during the day don't get on as much.

Biggest: No campus advertising for new members.


-Old TWWers have turned into trolls for any new people who sign on, brutally flaming anyone who is new, misguided, or has the coveted F in their profile.
-No features. You could (apparently) advertise the school tool back in the day as a great asset of the website, but now...you can get flamed for making a first post.
-DNL. Creepy fucker who scares away any and all chicks. I've specifically told a girl not to register, as she was going to start arguing with the retard, because I didn't want him to go creep show on her. He'
-RD. Just plain fucking weird with his Miley spamming of the boards.
-Old TWWers turning the site from a college board into a 'new graduate work force' board, and flaming anyone who posts actual college related stuff.

Making Chit Chat NSFW with out warning is iffy I'd say. It could turn away some people who didn't want to see a goatse remake or other horrible pic in a random thread, but that is still somewhat uncommon.

This is what we need to do.

We need to get a mass recruitment of new users. Work our hardest and not scaring them away right away. Then we need a big news scandal happen so they will see how it is exciting to be a memeber of it. Then they will hang around.

Someone come up with a time and place to meet up to chalk up campus and paint the tunnel and I'll be there.

Well it will have to be a chit chat scandal.


We also need to weed out the users that do a lot of picture bombing and make chit chat hard to read through.

We need to clean it up before we invite new users in. Gotta be on our best behavior and give a good first impression. So maybe we could suspend certain users that would freak out the new users. You know the ones that post super gross pictures/porn. Gotta warm up the noobs to that stuff.

Or have a thread dedicated to new users and slowly desensitize them to chit chat.

well if you put enough drinking, dorm living, screwing, new to college kids in one spot there's going to be drama and scandal given enough time. It has to happen on its own though.

But the board would have to turn back into the glut of college experience that it was before it matured (somewhat) as the original and early members did.

Then the old guard has to accept that the new people are going to take over the roles that they played, that will be hard.

But paint up the tunnel, thing was covered in 2002. Its how i found TWW. I would help if i was in raleigh
