i doubt these guys will give you much shit about not getting a sport bike. there ain't nothing wrong with a clean cruiser. however, i doubt they'll cut you much slack about that windscreen.

I really don't care. First of all, I've been riding a scooter for 2 years... I'm pretty used to getting picked on. Second, driving that thing home from the dealership in the pouring rain on Friday made me pretty glad I had it.

I'd get ragged on hard for owning a '79 Honda CBX with a mini sport fairing, dropped forks with clip-ops, and a six-one megaphone exhaust. But it's a dream bike of mine.

Get what you want...who cares? If it's what YOU want, then that's what matters.

Kudos on the bike, TenaciousC...and not just because you're a girl, NOT because I wanna get in yo draws (I got a woman whose draws I be tryin to constantly get into)...but because you're doing something you wanna do. My hat's off to ye.

exactly...i suppose i'm a huge pussy, but i don't see the point of a helmet if it's not something that's going to protect my whole head...that half helmet will keep your brain safe, but the rest of your face will be torn up

you can get a bell from walmart for ~$70-80 or an HJC for the same price
