You have a lot of awkward pauses, like you're forgetting what you're going to say next. And the swaying is distracting And you keep bouncing the clicker thing in your hands so it looks like you either have a nervous tick or are jacking yourself off lol.

yeah, the entire time i couldn't focus on anything but you swaying back and forth. you also seem to stutter and misspeak quite a bit, it sounds like you're nervous.

other than that, you might want to work on your accent a bit to make it more neutral, it sounds a bit... southern... right now. just a small thing, though. try to work on the plosives in your lav.

also, ESTV needs a new graphics package... that one is just... ugh.

professional overall, i'd say.

(i used to work for NBC 17, fwiw.)

do some relaxation or meditation before you go on so you sound more confident -its important to be calm

get a new haircut if you're gonna be on the news

also be careful about breathing into your lav mic
don't tip your head down

keep your hair short, especially your bangs. no offense, but it looks really goofy to comb them down like that or part it a la dwight from 'the office'. it looked good in your outside scenes. other than that, basically what everyone else above said. you'd make a good meteorologist. good luck.

I knew I'd get tough/honest criticism from TWW, so I thought I'd take my chances. This isn't final by any means, just a starting point. Still have a few more shows to shoot.

^stumbling over your words and saying things superfluously or with awkward pauses was the biggest distraction for me, more so than the hand movements and swaying

do some yoga and some breathing before you go on
just be sure that whatever comes out of your mouth is true... like the word of God
your confidence will come across in your voice

but be sure not to do that in your personal life cause people will think you're a dick

i didn't watch the whole thing, but please please please never ever use "overnight" as a noun, like "into the overnight". the dude on nbc 17 says it every other sentence. feel free to say "into the overnight period"...or "it will rain over night".

^^^^I noticed that too, but he said overnight hours most of the time.

Something that was kinda odd was where you said "your wednesday" about 4 times in a row, right near the end... Just bugged me I guess. Not sure why... maybe mix it up if you're saying it that much repeatedly.

yea dude and when your talking about amounts you can estimate a little more. sounds more causal as the average person watching weather doesnt really care.
