I saw some kids riding around in an Audi a few years ago drinking budweiser. They pulled up to the grocery store and idled in the fire lane while the front passenger ran into the store, presumably to buy more beer.

I called the cops on them. Was this the right choice?

My friend almost got one of these during the hike a few years ago. The cop let him pour his beer out on the curb though and continue on our way

I thought passengers could have them but the driver couldn't. Or maybe that was just in Louisiana.

it is illegal in NC

However, every now and then, a bill is introduced and summarily killed in the NC legislature that would legalize the practice. When the local news covers it, all the college students jizz their pants and claim that it is legal because they heard it on the news man

funny how that list doesn't include an exception for a car full of college kids driving between parties
