I'm going paintballing this weekend and haven't played since I was 14. it's just a one-time thing with a bunch of guys I'm friends with so I'm thinking:

shitty jeans (obviously)
some sort of green/brown/shirt?

I really don't know what the fuck to wear to work to my advantage before I get mauled

tips? thanks tww

you'll look better if you don't care what you are wearing. people that try too hard are the ones I take note of to shoot.

Some buddies and I got drunk one day and played paintball in only our swimtrunks and masks on a wooded island we were camping on...talk about a SHITTY next morning. Those of you that have played know the adrenaline rush can sometimes obscure the fact that you've even been hit; combine that with general beer-induced numbness..

Nothing like waking up in a tent hung over with sore muscles and welts the size of half-dollars all over your body.

Wear whatever no matter what. It's not like you are going to be going against snipers at 1000 yds away. And no one wears a cup in recreational paintball. Don't waste the money on one.

fwiw, ripstop fabric or windbreaker material lets glancing blows slide off without popping

Yeah don't waste $7 on not getting your balls slammed by a projectile

because you probably don't already have a cup

i always wore a cup when I played.... but I was the only one of my friends who did (until one of the guys was dropped on a cold day, and then a couple more people followed suit)

But I always wore BDU's whenever I played... but we played tactical games, not speedball, so blending in helped
