man is it me, or are nba players bitching to the refs at an all time high right now? it's actually starting to turn me off from watching games on its own

yesterday grant hill got called for one travel and literally sprinted to the ref yelling in his face, and the replay showed he clearly dragged his foot, it just seems like it's the trendy thing to do

its both nowhere near the level of college whining, but also nothing new

also college coaches do it more than nba coaches

college players are held to stricter standards as far as criticizing refs compared to nba players

They should allow the players to carry weapons during the games. It is their constitutional right.

The refs in college have made the sport unwatchable for me. I guess it's part of the game, but I'm tired of seeing:

A million no-calls for traveling
Phantom fouls
"Blocking" fouls that should be charging
A person that is fouled, takes three steps complete with a dribble, and finally takes his shot - gets the basket plus the foul shot
And my personal pet peeve - the guy that goes up for a shot and does some sort of yoga body contortion to perform a flying karate kick on a defender that was 5 feet away somehow being rewarded with a foul called on the defender

It would be ok if this happened a few times per game, unfortunately it happens a few times per minute.
