heroes!!!its real
4/5/2009 12:29:00 AM
he's not the first. Hell, Belgian Blue cattle were bred to have this characteristic centuries ago. However, we're living in an age where genetic doping is very real, and having an actual person born with these genetics will make it a lot easier for scientists to delevop drugs or viruses to cause this effect in people that could benefit from mystatin deficiency, such as kids with muscular dystrophy or wasting disease. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if the Chinese weren't already doing this for the last Olympics. Considering how their female weightlifting team annihilated the competition and a few world records last summer.

super strong, fine, but he moves like he's retarded. Put that thing to sleep, the last thing the world needs is a super-strength retard
4/5/2009 8:47:16 AM
he's THREE, you idiot.strength may be innate, but coordination takes time to develop.

^^I'm sure the writer of that article is an expert on the subject.Meanwhile, medical journals are reporting that myostatin deficiencies cause weak, brittle tendons and a reduction in the size of almost all other organs.http://genome.cshlp.org/content/7/9/910.full

If this kid is predispositioned to have weak ACLs, then it sounds like this kid will be a shoe-in for a NC State running back.
4/5/2009 9:52:09 PM
