I'm looking to buy some furniture (mostly living room, some bedroom, so think sofas, coffee tables, etc) and I was wondering if there were any decent, affordable, stores in the area that will deliver. As far as style goes, I'm really looking for something contemporary. I realize Ikea is a good option, but they don't really have a store around here and I doubt they would deliver to Raleigh from Charlotte. Any thoughts?

The Room Store has pretty good stuff for reasonable prices. They have stores off Capital and Glenwood.

Rooms to go isnt too bad. They have some decent stuff, and pretty sweet financing deals. They also deliver.

Shelton's by moonlight pizza...their stuff is marked pretty high, but they sell used furniture and you can talk them wayyyy down on the prices.

if you're going to recommend rooms to go, you might just as well go buy your furniture from wal-mart or target.

yard sales? i mean you might have to look for awhile and at first this just seems like going to wal-mart or something, but it isn't. if you look around you can find some amazing things at yard sales
