i wish twitter wasn't connected to facebook.

a girl i am connected to on FB uses twitter, which results in status updates every few minutes (sometimes SECONDS) and it's ridiculous how much detail of her daily activity gets posted.

Example:
(April 5 at 9:54am · via Twitter) oh lordy. the pressure of The First blog entry. Too much! Will bake cookies instead {...}
(April 5 at 10:12am · via Twitter) beatin' the butter.
(April 5 at 10:14am · via Twitter) addin' the sugars.

it's no different than talking to somebody irl about their mundane boring life. except on twitter, you can talk with as many or as few people as you want at the same time, and if somebody starts talking about their cookies and you don't care, you don't have to follow them anymore. if the people you associate with don't have anything interesting to say, well i guess that's your own problem
