I'm on a loaner laptop and don't want to install Microsoft Office on it. Can I download Open Office, make a powerpoint presentation, and open it (on campus) with M$ Powerpoint to format it? I need it in Powerpoint format for my presentations

Awesome, got an egg

Quote :
"Of course, you are free to use your old Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, or save your work in PowerPoint format for sending to people who are still locked into Microsoft products. Alternatively, use IMPRESS's built-in ability to create Flash (.swf) versions of your presentations."

Awesome, thanks!

yes, all open office documents can be opened in their M$ counterpart. However M$ 2007 cannot be opened by open office. And if you use screwy transitions or text it will be all screwed up when you open it.

Yeah, I'll just be doing a generic presentation.

Back to work, already got my egg for this outing...
