I do tend to be familiar with the Pirates and the Royals because I live in the Midwest. I feel bad for both of them and appreciate any fan of theirs that hasn't sold out to the Yankees/Red Sox/Cubs. On the other hand, the entire NL West is completely lost on me.

quite being a dick. there are different levels of being a fan. I would consider myself a hockey fan but not an avid hockey fan like I am the other big 3 sports. I go to a couple Cains games every year and watch maybe 10 on tv. That being said the Phoenix Coyotes were on sportscenter and I thought "who they fuck are they?"

http://www.sporcle.com/ is a great site. It used to focus on real trivia and was intellectually stimulating, which I thought was better, but recently they made it so anyone can create a quiz so some really stupid shit has showed up. But at least the sports category is still good.
