And I'm not talking tostitos. Having a mexican style dinner for a group and want something "better" than the usual without having to go the homemade route for just chips at the meal.

Basically, what's your favorite tortilla chip?

If you're talking store bought I don't think you can beat tostitos...just saying. I've always wanted to try making home made chips though.

snyder's yellow corn are the best you can get at regular grocery stores like food lion, etc.

you can get the on the border chips in a huge bag at sam's. they're my favorite

Snyders of Hannover destroys all store-purchased foes. They're amazing.

Also most mexican restaurants will sell you a bag of chips for like $6 with their home made salsa

I have to say I'm not a big fan of snyder's tortilla chips.

I always liked the chips from On The Border, you can buy them in stores. You can also go to most any Mexican restaurant and buy a bag of their chips. The chips at Tobacco Road are pretty baller too though.

We usually end up getting these:

They aren't the best in the world, but they are certainly better than Tostitos (well IMO at least).

^^The chips at On the Border would be the absolute best if they just used a little less salt. They're usually extremely salty.

Santitas FTW....they're cheaper and saltier than tostitos...no reason to go with the real restaurant style chips.
