Why does Kraft Mac & Cheese spirals come in 5.5oz boxes, while the reg elbow macaroni variety is 7.25oz.???Spirals fucking rock, yet this is their downfall

totinos pizzas only have cheese on the "cheese" variety
4/16/2009 9:12:23 PM
^that's fucked up
4/16/2009 9:13:47 PM
the "cheese" on totino's cheese pizza isn't even enough to register it as a cheese pizza. if you can see sauce, well, that's just not right.

MIND YOUThe boxes are the same size.

i'm gonna disagree.

no, for real, the elbows pack more efficiently than the spiralsthat, plus they only have to make one size box for multiple products, which ultimately reduces overhead
4/16/2009 10:48:11 PM
^how's that prevent them from charging less then?
4/16/2009 10:52:59 PM
as i recall the boxes are only about half full anyway
4/16/2009 10:57:34 PM
^^because the majority of the consumer base will not even notice the difference, and the ones that do might be willing to spring a little extra for spirals
