Anyone else watch this? I just finished it (recorded on fuse) big ups for metallica, I didn't expect to see Jason there, let alone him performing with the band. Also a special thanks to James for calling out the hall of fame for not including other heavy acts like KISS, motorhead and so on. 4/16/2009 9:04:02 PM |

KISS is the most blatant band left out of the R&R HOF. Regardless of how you feel about their music, you can not deny that they were one of biggest bands of the 70s and are consistently cited by rock bands of the last 20 years as a major influence. Not including them is ridiculous.
I actually had a conversation about this with a member of the board of directors of the HOF and he basically implied that the members of the board, who are the ones to vote, simply don't like KISS.
Cheapens an already cheap organization. 4/16/2009 11:25:07 PM |

If you think all KISS is is pyro then you have negated anything you might possibly contribute because you clearly have no idea what you are talking about.

Out of curiosity, what was Jason's reason for leaving Metallica? 4/17/2009 2:14:03 PM |

He and James basically got into a big disagreement because Jason wanted to do an album and tour with a side project of his, but James felt that they should all only be Metallica. 4/17/2009 2:42:24 PM |

no offense to Run DMC but KISS is more rock and roll than them. 4/17/2009 9:12:33 PM |

they pretty much forced Jason out. There was a lot of leftover hurt from when Cliff died and they basically took it out on the new guy. They even went as far as burying him in the mix on albums 4/18/2009 3:28:05 AM |
