Will this work? Seems like it would. Foam could sit on the trunk and spoiler and then it could get hooked into the trunk? Will it fuck up the spoiler?

Just strap that shit to the spoiler, problem solved

...sorry, I don't know shit about cars or anything like that, so I have no real contribution

I'm just afraid the end on the spoiler will slip and it will end up with metal on the spoiler instead of foam. I know its hard to visualize and I wish I had a pic but its pretty much an L shape with foam on two ends. The long end runs vertical with the car trunk and the horizontal end runs along the top of the trunk and then there are straps that go into the sides and near the hinges of the trunk. The L shape can also be changed to different angles.
