I still vote for #2 if "beauty in decay, oblivious to human life/civilization" is what you're going for.

I think that beauty is shown in the reflection in the puddle, and the human/life civilization part is shown with the car in the background in a blur....driving on, because they don't give a fuck.

#1 and #3, I like that #1 doesn't have any cars in the background, but the fact that #3 does completes the point that yes - that 'possum is roadkill.

The reflection of the red car in #2 looks like a puddle of blood surrounding the 'possum. It's slightly amusing.
