Does it have a lift on it? Lots of space for some bigger tires.

It's the only engine naturally balanced for zero vibration due to it's design.

I loved the 300 in my old ford. The traffic waiting behind me on on-ramps didn't.

But put it in low gear and that sonambitch would pull the drain plug out of the Atlantic.

definitely not doing much/anything to it powerwise for a while..still got race cars to finish. I will throw on a toolbox, tint the front windows and add boost/pryo/trans temp gauges before too long.

Hate to call you out Keith but WRONG.

Straight six, when speaking in terms of power pulses, is inherently better dynamically balanced; 6 neither divides evenly into nor is it evenly divided by the number of strokes in the Otto Cycle. The only bad thing is that long crank means lower resonant frequency.

bout the only thing the 4.0/4.2 is good for is a boat anchor, you've got about 60whp in 4wd

^ Wat?

They have plenty of power for what it is. The 4.0/4.2 is a great engine IMO. Decent torque, and power.

yea traded in my 150k zj just because i didnt need 3 drivable vehicles(and 1 not drivable). never gave an ounce of trouble and I would have driven it at least another 50k.

changed the oil and put on a waterpump as a maintenance item before it started weeping

what do you consider trouble? the whole thing falling apart or leaving you on the side of the road?
