I got an internship in charlotte for the summer and need to find a place to live. I will only be there from June 1st through Aug 15th. Any advice where to live? I would like to get a 1br place if possible and spend 500-800/month (or a 2br but I would have to find a roommate). Any advice is appreciated.

Check the craigslist ads for temp rentals...there are great deals there sometimes.

Also, where are you working. That means a lot....also what are you looking for?

Check out Eastover Ridge. Location is great and the pool is like spring break every weekend. Thank me later...

Depends where your work is. City center, southern area, university area? You looking for a party complex or quiet area? Amount of transit time thats ok with you?

I'll be working downtown. I'd like to live anywhere from downtown and south (gf lives in south charlotte and I dont really want to have to drive from UNCC all the way to south charlotte all the time). I'd prefer a quieter area rather than party. I'm not too picky on transit time.

Check out Southend (olmsted park) or Southpark area (phillips place).

Don't live east or west of downtown...definitely go south imo.
