Try beating off, popping some melatonin supplements, then hopping in bed. Skip the shower til the next day.

If you don't pass out, you have a more powerful chemical imbalance than reasonable drugs can solve.

And thus you should move on to beer, wine, or some sort of liquor. (Combine with melatonin and j/o for fun results!)

Melatonin works pretty well for me, but when I've been on it for about a week straight I'll have one day that just totally screws up the sleep schedule again.

I gotta work on the balance, and not take the damn stuff more than ~4-5 days at a time. Boy it works really well though on nights where you're all jittery and spazzing the hell out.

I might have to start this melatonin stuff.

I really don't want to be dependant on shit to go to sleep, though it would be nice to sleep for more than 2 hours once in a while

I'm a night owl. Tommorrow around 3pm I'll hardly be able to keep my eyes open and can't wait to get home to take a nap. I'll get busy with something, it'll turn to midnight and I'll be wide open.

my sleep schedule is all messed up because my life is all messed up. so instead of doing anything, i just sleep, and then i do the stuff i gotta do, then go back to sleep. and i didn't take sleeping medicine tonight and i don't want to take it now or else i'll never wake up. so now, i'm awake.

also my cat licking herself on my bed doesn't help anything either!

but i'm typically a night owl, too, anyway. i get really tired in the afternoon. i <3 naps. so much!!

I was an insomniac all my life, and finally I was like "fuck this" and went to the Sleep Clinic in Cary

and Dr. Yvette Cook prescribed me some

and sleeping has never been a problem since

knocks me out in an hour, I can't stay awake if I try...and I have cool dreams too

highly recommend it...plus it's classified as an antidepressant, so insurance covers it, and it puts a smile on my face and helps me to tolerate my miserable existence

^ are you drowsy the next day? What time do you normally take it and what time do you wake up? Naturally or with an alarm clock?

I take it around 2:15 AM, read for an hour, and then at 3:15 I turn off the light and I'm out. I wake up to an alarm clock at 11:15, giving me eight hours of sleep. I AM kinda drowsy the next day, but I've gotten used to it over the years, and I drink the fuck out of some caffeine throughout the daylight hours. And anyhow for me an unconditional good night's rest is a small price to pay for a slightly drowsy feeling that can be alleviated with plenty of coffee.

Remeron FTW as far as I'm concerned

Which makes me wonder if it would do any good if I just beat into a potted plant every morning.
