i am supposed to be in court at 9:30, but i'm sick as a fuck from allergies. nature is a bitch. there's no way in hell i'm going to be able to leave the house. i was going to file a continuance anyway, but you can't just call in sick, can you? i don't want to get arrested and look like crusty mcboogerfest in my mugshot.

you either lose or the judge gives you a continuance

[Edited on April 28, 2009 at 2:58 AM. Reason : also, district and small claims are different]

ah, my bad... it said district court division - small claims on the paper. i usually get away with my deviance, so i don't have much experience actually going to court.

i'm calling legal aid when they open at 9, and hopefully they can help me reschedule my date. i just realized that i completely fucked up representing myself, so i'm kind of glad i got sick.. haha. you can't hax0r a judge.

it's too late now...but if you didn't go, despite a phone call to the clerk, if a judge is feeling saucy that day may rule in the other person's favor...

you kinda shot yourself in the foot on this one :/

i mean, when an attorney is sick...he either shows up anyway or at least sends someone in his place. and they see judges all the time and have an established rapor. you're just some jane doe that didn't show up to court that day, wasting the court's time and money...doesn't look good.

*rapport

[Edited on April 29, 2009 at 1:53 AM. Reason : what you put almost looks like "established raper"]
