I'm trying to find a good psychiatrist in their network. I could close my eyes and just pick where my finger lands, but I'd like some good input if at all possible. I need one who can provide me with prescription management (I currently take Effexor and Adderall).

My current provider is out of network and Magellan will not cover out-of-network visits, etc. He's also closing his private practice in the area at the end of May.

I think the best way to approach this is to contact Magellan and ask for the list of in-network psychiatrists, and then go online and search for opinions of each of them.

Yeah...I went through the list to look for familiar names, but didn't really see any. NONE of my old ones. I figured somebody somewhere might have opinions on specific ones, and here was a good place to start. None of my other docs have been a whole lot of help. This fucking blows.
