I actually dislike RDU a fair bit. Well, terminal 1 To their credit, they are doing a lot of things to make it better, but they could build a lot of goodwill and appreciation with a quickness just by making wireless available for free. Or next to free, and payable with paypal.[Edited on April 30, 2009 at 7:47 PM. Reason : asdffa]

4/30/2009 7:48:14 PM
CHICAGO O-MOTHAFUCKIN-HAREI have NEVER flown out of there on time, in 10+ flights. Generally at least a 10 hour delay. I think my shortest delay was 4 hours.

i must have good luck...been through ohare a couple times, never any problemsalso sometimes the weather is just fucked up, which isnt necessarily indicative of the efficiency of the particular airport
4/30/2009 7:51:09 PM
didn't like heathrow or newark.the best was definitely stockholm's airport followed by the one in denmark just north of copenhagen. beautiful architecture.

O'Hare, Cleveland, Detroit
4/30/2009 8:06:22 PM
I've never really been in one I hate. My favorite has to be Las Vegas though.
4/30/2009 8:06:41 PM
why cause you can play the slots as soon as you get there
4/30/2009 8:07:24 PM
O'Hare is a horrible abomination, and there are few experiences in life more soul-crushing than being stranded there on a four hour layover. But nothing is worse than landing at Concourse E in Atlanta in the middle of the night, only to find that the trains to the terminal aren't running. You're lucky to finish that walk by sunrise. Also, Charles de Gaulle and JFK are utter garbage and should be imploded.
4/30/2009 8:09:32 PM
Definitely Philly
4/30/2009 8:15:02 PM
I hate Seoul's airport. I heard it was recently renovated though so maybe it's not as horrible now.Oh and the Bangkok airport with its lack of bathrooms sucks a big one.[Edited on April 30, 2009 at 8:51 PM. Reason : lol]
4/30/2009 8:48:26 PM
FUCK THE ATL
4/30/2009 8:49:08 PM
Newark hands downI always felt for the fact that it was so massive that O'Hare was run about as well as could be expectedatlanta and jfk aren't that great either
4/30/2009 8:49:11 PM
Dallas - there's not shit to eat but overpriced crap fast food and you have to walk-for-freaking ever to make a connection.Minneapolis is a close second, also because of long walks. But at least there's a couple decent restaurants.I don't mind ATL because landing in altanta means i'm finally home.
4/30/2009 9:24:36 PM
Chicago, nothing ever arrives on timeMemphis and Minneapolis have surprisingly nice airports.
4/30/2009 9:52:14 PM

4/30/2009 10:06:54 PM
heh i like to hear these kind of responses from people that don't fly more than a few times per year at most
4/30/2009 10:12:22 PM
I have just NEVER flown into Philly on time. I've never departed Philly on time. It's always to goddamn congested. The employees are fucking rude. The food is shit. Half of the time, I have to take their terminal bus service to go from spot to spot. I always get held up at the security gates. The place is just awful.I can say, I successfully sweet talked my way onto a plane. I needed to get back to CLT, and my flight was full/delayed.... but I sent that bitch a smiley face She changed someone else's ticket and let me on.
4/30/2009 10:14:12 PM
RDU terminal 1 is seriously one a hideous building. It's ugly, poorly laid out, dirty, small, smelly, claustrophobic.... I just flew into it today, and it renewed my disgust of it. 2 weeks ago I flew out of RDU Terminal 2 for the first time, and was very impressed. it's spacious, light, clean, etc. very nice. are they going to rebuild terminal 1 in the same fashion?
4/30/2009 10:15:07 PM

As a passenger, all three NYC airports suck, due to congestion and delays. But I think as far as the actual airport goes, I'd have to choose La Guardia. It's old and cramped. Comair's 200s (Delta Connection) don't have gates, so you have to take that damn bus to the plane. Everything is always delayed. You're always number 39 for departure. The customer service lines are always super long.As an airline pilot, I'm not a huge fan of my domicile of Detroit. The airport doesn't have great food options for its size (Minneapolis is much better IMO). Our ramps are understaffed, so we often do that hold just short of the gate that often takes over 20 minutes. You know the one. We're there early yet by the time you get off the plane you're late for your connection. The one where we keep telling you to keep your seatbelt on and remain seated. We know you people do the opposite anyway. You bastards. ^^^I'm pretty sure they started already on the southwest side. They moved Northwest out to Terminal C or II or whatever they call it now and moved continental to the center of the terminal.[Edited on April 30, 2009 at 10:50 PM. Reason : ^^^]

I definitely try to avoid O'Hare and Heathrow whenever possible.
4/30/2009 10:46:59 PM
I hate Dulles just because the food selections are poor and there's no wireless (at least there wasn't this summer). Their flight status also doesn't seem to get updated fast enough, so that I almost missed that my gate had been changed.

on second thought, i retract my Minneapolis vote. the lady's voice on the people mover always reminds me of liz hurley.i stand by dallas though.
4/30/2009 11:48:16 PM
I've only had the 'privilege' of being a passenger at O'Hare once, and was young so I don't remember it.Whenever I fly in there on a turn and take a look inside everyone looks pretty pissed off though, so I'm gonna guess it's not too great of an experience.
4/30/2009 11:59:28 PM
eh, I don't mind ORD. They have wireless, plenty of electric outlets, and decently priced food. That's all I really hope for in an airport these days
