does "the ladder up to the upper deck" really need to be labeled?
5/1/2009 1:47:51 PM
^^ Third rates are kick ass ships. It's the second rates that kind of blow.Which is why we refer to things that aren't that good as "second rate"[Edited on May 1, 2009 at 2:03 PM. Reason : And the HMS Surprise from Master & Commander was a 6th rate.]

that just got printed out and is on my office wall. 30"x30" FTW

^^a youtube comment said that the HMS Surprise was actually based on HMS ____ which was actually a sloop, not a frigate I looked up a "sloop" on wikipedia and was surprised those kinds of ships were used as gunships (20-30 guns?). I just associated that type of ship with fishermen [Edited on May 1, 2009 at 2:20 PM. Reason : chinese fishermen? ha][Edited on May 1, 2009 at 2:20 PM. Reason : ]
