I didn't know The Unit was close to being chopped. It seems like EVERY damn show I watch gets canceled. 5/1/2009 12:29:56 PM |

Wow, not happy looking over that list. Chuck is a potential (though I already knew that one), Life is gone, Reaper is gone, Eli Stone is gone. 5/1/2009 12:46:30 PM |

If Southland gets cancelled I will officially give up on NBC. They throw every new drama under the bus before they get a chance to grow a following. Now with them giving 40% of their primetime slots to Leno they won't have any room to let anything grow. Fuck NBC, I swear that network is run by a bunch of baffoons.
getting picked up for a Pilot by NBC is like an automatic Death Sentance. I don't know why anyone would consider taking a chance with that network.

heroes...30 rock...the office...
NBC is doing pretty well for itself...
Or are you only talking about dramas?
Good news to my eyes:

Bad News :

The Office and 30 Rock do pretty well, but if you look at the Thursday 9pm timeslot they still get blown away by CSI and Greys Anatomy. They provide something different which is why i believe they are successful and both are shows I do enjoy.
Lets face it, the first half of this season Heroes was dreadful. They finally turned the ship around during the second half after bringing back one of the original co-creators to refocus the series. Still though, I found it pretty bad. I think that Heroes had such an amazing first season that NBC thought this could be their new flagship series and thus didn't want to bail on it so quickly. But everyone knows had the first season been like this season the plug would have already been pulled on Heroes. 5/1/2009 1:25:25 PM |

lol, it's only aired two episodes. That way fast for a show to be cancelled, even based on Fox standards.5/1/2009 2:07:29 PM |

Reaper didn't fit in with the CW's demo. I could see it doing well on Fox or FX. The CW is geared towards women and teenaged girls.
Smackdown doesn't even belong on that network.
The Unit was doomed by being moved to Sunday's at 10 which is a death sentence. Its a well written show but it got bumped a lot during football season to a late start.
I hope Chuck doesn't get cancelled. 5/1/2009 6:34:04 PM |

^yeah, we had to set it to record an extra hour every time because it was pushed back. the unit is one of the most badass shows on tv... on par with 24 in my opinion. 5/1/2009 6:46:36 PM |
