which do you like/drink most?Everyone tells me its easier to drink more water if you try the different kinds of these, but ive tried all sorts of varities and they are all too sweet, even the sugar free ones. To the point where id rather drink just water plain.post some suggestions

5/4/2009 1:47:17 PM
crystal light lightly lemon? it's not nearly as good as their lemonade, but it's a lot less sweet, so it might work for you.
5/4/2009 1:49:35 PM
Use less mix.Drink'll be less sweet. You're welcome.

^^way to spoil it i got a wylers one yesterday in hopes its not as sweeti think ill have to try using less, but how much like half or 3/4i drink TOO MUCH water with ice, and its hard to get ice at work[Edited on May 4, 2009 at 2:04 PM. Reason : sdafasf]
5/4/2009 2:04:25 PM
i get the cheap "great value" brand mix and use a half of a tub per gallon (so it's 25% strength)...the raspberry and strawberry are good, but i hate red-colored mixes because that stuff stains if you get it on your clothes works well for me in terms of flavor, though
5/4/2009 2:06:22 PM
are you buying the individual packets? if so, those are supposed to go in 16.9oz of water. if you just mix it in 20oz of water, you should be fine, it won't be as sweet then.
5/4/2009 2:06:28 PM
i don't really like them. i drink a lot more water, or any drink, if i've got a straw or one of those bite valves. if i had to pick one, the koolaid ones win.oh, and sugar free doesn't mean it's not sweet, it just means they use artificial sweeteners...[Edited on May 4, 2009 at 2:07 PM. Reason : ]

if it's "crazy sweet"ADD MORE FUCKING WATER

water + drink mix = crazy deliciousI use crystal light - I like all the flavors except fruit punch
5/4/2009 2:11:24 PM
yeah, i drink it all day. that's pretty much all i drink - crystal light type drinks and plain water. and 9 times out of 10 it's crystal light stuff.
5/4/2009 2:12:10 PM
i love koolaid sugar free purple/fruit punch because it has sweetener already!
5/4/2009 2:12:15 PM
^^^^^ bottles only so big^^^^^^^yea a box with like 8-10 individual "sticks", and i add it to the 16.9 ounce bottles of water we have at work[Edited on May 4, 2009 at 2:13 PM. Reason : sfdasdf]
5/4/2009 2:12:38 PM
i like crystal light when you make it in a pitcher and make like 2Quarts at once or whateverbut the individual packets you pour into bottled water ARE too sweet. and so are the premixed bottles of crystal light you can buy.

ah well, here's my solution to that. we have a water cooler at work, and this water bottle holds 24oz when filled to capacity. i take it with me everywhere. it even has a spout to drink out of. i love it love it love it. it's perfect for people like you and i who think 16.9oz is just not enough water for the individual packets. i own 4 of these bottles and highly recommend them. http://www.amazon.com/NALGENE-Tritan-BPA-Free-Water-Bottle/dp/B001NCDE5W/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1241460860&sr=8-4[Edited on May 4, 2009 at 2:15 PM. or
5/4/2009 2:17:31 PM
those 32oz suckers are too big though. one packet in 32oz of water is a bit too watered down for me.
5/4/2009 2:18:47 PM
^ then steel one might work well for you, then, since it's smallerbut i like my drink watered
5/4/2009 2:19:56 PM
I usually keep lemon juice on hand to flavor my water, but I tried these drink mixes based on porcha's recommendation. They were some individual food lion brand ones and the 1 packet to 16oz water was just ludicrous.I barely use a fourth of the packet for 32oz of water.
5/4/2009 2:20:13 PM
^^see my post a few posts higher. i already got a Nalgene that meets my needs
5/4/2009 2:21:02 PM
^4 exactly. i have big nalgenes then the little baby ones (which don't help at all obviously).i've seen lots of people with the one that thumper posted, though. perhaps i will invest in one of those.[Edited on May 4, 2009 at 2:22 PM. Reason : .]
