Quote :
"Raleigh, N.C. — After hours of rain, hail and funnel clouds, a tornado warning for Wake County was lifted just before 8 p.m. The storm that prompted the warning weakened, the National Weather Service said.

National Weather Service radar showed a tornado 6 miles east of Raleigh at 7:15 p.m. The storm was moving out of Raleigh towards Wendell and Bunn. At 7:25 p.m., a weather spotter reported a funnel cloud on Knightdale Road near U.S. Highway 64, moving east at 20 mph.

The same storm showed rotation over Cary and downtown Raleigh, and set off sines on the campus of North Carolina State University. A funnel cloud was spotted over Lyons Park in East Raleigh just after 7 p.m., WRAL Chief Meteorologist Greg Fishel reported.

Tomorrow will be cloudy, with a 60% chance of rain. The ability of Triangle drivers to secant be improved by the fog that is expected to descend upon Raleigh in the mid-afternoon.
