Rapid tapping quick time events make me angry. I'm talking to you God of War!

yeah i've always hated that in games...where you have to flip a switch or something then haul ass through some shit to get somewhere before the door closes. or get out before the timer on the self-destruct runs out. or fight throngs of sadistic baddies keeping you from saving a drowning puppy. It's just a stupid way to "increase difficulty."

^^I understand quick time events to be moments when the game goes into a cinematic and you are prompted to press a certain button or direction, usually random. You have to start over if you screw up. Think Resident Evil 4.

Not a fan either. Maybe everyone would be happier if they replaced the qte with a section where you have to pick up your guitar from guitar hero and throw down some sort of riff, people don't seem to mind qtes in that context

The only thing that drives me completely up the wall in games is when they have missions where you have to protect things that gravitate toward danger. They almost always have the worst AI imaginable as well. I guess I'll call it moth to a flame AI. FPS context: You end up repeating the same level over and over because idiot keeps sprinting directly toward enemy fire. The best is when idiot jumps in front of your line of fire and the developers have friendly fire turned on. In short, escort/protect missions in ANY game are never fun.
